The end of stage four....
The end of stage 4 marks the end of the “beginner” stages of the Learn to Swim programme.
Due to the nature of the pool at Birchington Vale, this is the point we suggest you start looking for an alternative swimming provider. We aren’t currently running any stage 5 classes anywhere else at present.
You don't need to leave immediately, and you can carry on for as long as you wish. There are parts of stage 5 we can teach but we cannot complete the stage. It is, however, our opinion we that your child is now better suited to pools where they can’t stand up in the water, to become safer in it, and ideally swim lengths too, to build up their stamina.
Where should I go next?
We recommend you move onto our partners, Your Leisure (30 min lessons up to stage 7) & Thanet Swim Club (hour long lessons with a competitive and non-competitive streams)
